What happens to your body in a week of not exercising..

A few weeks ago, I saw this video shared on Facebook…

I watched it smugly and used to it to make myself feel better about all of the exercise that I was doing, and that I could keep it up regularly.  But due to a heavy workload – and not feeling 100% – today was my first run in almost two weeks. 

And this video is exactly how I felt.  My legs felt week and I was way more out of breath than I’m used to.  I’ve not been completely inactive in this time and it’s scary how quickly your body does start to weaken.

Whether it applies or not, I find it an interesting watch and I would recommend it if you need a bit of mid-week motivation.
